Bootie and the Ho Fish play wedding at Royal Oak

We played a great gig last Saturday at a very local pub for the landlords wedding. The atmosphere was brilliant and friendly and the drinks were flowing very freely!! We really enjoyed ourselves - I think the biggest hit of the night was the encore we did of “you’re just too good to be true” which had the whole wedding party singing along to the Ba Da Ba Da Ba Da…!

Bootie play wedding at Blagdon Lodge

We did a lovely wedding at Blagdon Lodge in Somerset this Sunday for James and Angelas wedding. Really good crowd who danced all the way to the end. Plus lovely venue who served us gorgeous food and were really accomisatobg while we were setting up. Gorgeous venue too! Top night had by all!

A Scottish Wedding in North Wraxhall

Bootie - post gig with the best man We played a wonderful wedding gig in October 2008 in the North Wraxhall village hall - with a gorgeously ornate marquee attached. There was a Scottish theme; lots of the male guests were in kilts and there was bagpipe player in full get up to play after the speeches.

We had a fabulous time - the guests were all up for dancing right from the start and the dance floor was packed all night. Everyone was really friendly (see photo) - plus they fed us with sausages & mash; just the thing we need to warm our cockles on a cold October evening. (I’m glad I wasn’t in a kilt!)

Corsham Charidee Gig

We had a great time at the Royal Oak in Corsham. Boy, was it hot though!

It was great to play somewhere which had it’s own PA and light installation (and a good installation at that), as it meant we didn’t have to cart all our PA and lights over in a van.

Congratulations to Clare on a great evening! And good luck for the Race For Life in Cuba in 2009
