There was a Scottish theme; lots of the male guests were in kilts and there was bagpipe player in full get up to play after the speeches.

We had a fabulous time - the guests were all up for dancing right from the start and the dance floor was packed all night. Everyone was really friendly (see photo) - plus they fed us with sausages & mash; just the thing we need to warm our cockles on a cold October evening. (I’m glad I wasn’t in a kilt!)

Boy, was it hot though!

It was great to play somewhere which had it’s own PA and light installation (and a good installation at that), as it meant we didn’t have to cart all our PA and lights over in a van.
